The holiday season is not only for people anymore!

Please consider coming out with us, into the season this year, while, well we freeze our booties off, and spread some holiday cheer!!!!

 PLEASE COME OUT AND JOIN US FOR OUR HOLIDAY DONATION DRIVES!

What is IAR’s Holiday Donation Drive you ask?

 Our holiday donation drive is where we grab a group of volunteers with all of our IAR literature and hang out outside of a Wal-Mart store on (hopefully) a very busy (and hopefully mild!) day during the holiday season.

 Our goals on these days is to build awareness, hand out fliers/brochures (doing our best to educate) recruit new volunteers, recruit potential foster homes, and (hopefully) raise some funds to support our cause! Our additional goals will be to stay warm, drink coffee and hot chocolate (maybe donuts, too!), laugh out loud and have fun (it really is!!!!)!

 We will also be handing out our wish list to people entering the store in order to raise donations that will support the care of the animals in foster care.

 All donations of products not essential for the care of the animals of IAR, will be donated for Christmas day to the animals awaiting rescue in high kill facilities!

Where and when are IAR’s Holiday Donation Drives you ask?

Donation drives are 10am to 2pm.

 Sunday November 30^th at Wal-Mart in Crystal Lake

Sunday November 30^th at Wal-Mart in Lake Zurich

 Saturday, December 20^th at Wal-Mart in Lake Zurich

 If you cannot attend one of the current donation drives, please consider having your own! Your own donation drive can be at your place of business, your school, other local businesses, your own private party to support the animals, or many other places! We will supply you with any literature that you may need!

 If you would like to help us make this season special for the animals in need, by attending one (or more!) of IAR’s Holiday Donation Drives, please contact volunteer@illinoisanimalrescue.org

 We are also in need of individuals that are interested in taking the ‘reindeer reins’ and setting up additional donation drives at the Wal-Marts throughout other areas (mainly Cook County). We will supply you with the literature and materials that you need!

Why would God make something so perfect and leave it behind

Some may think we are master of the animals
But the animals have mastered themselves

Something people still haven't learned 
War and abuse make me hurt for the world

But a rescue that makes the news gives me hope for mankind



We are a quiet but determined army

And we are making   a difference every day

There is nothing more necessary than warming an orphan
Nothing more rewarding than saving a life
No higher recognition than watching them thrive

There is no greater joy than seeing a baby play
Who only days ago, was too weak to eat
