Most animals available for adoption on this page are awaiting their forever home at local No-kill facilities in IAR's coalition. One of Illinois Animal Rescue's many goals is to prevent these loving souls from a life sentence to a cage. In order for IAR to rescue many more urgent animals from euthanasia, please make space available by adopting a pet from a shelter.
